AURA is a visionary creative enter​tainment company that leverages Silent Disco as its core concept to curate unique events and address sound-related challenges in the entertainment, hospitality, and health & wellness sectors

OUR BEGINNINGS


Founded in 2021 during the COVID-19 lockdown, AURA was established by four friends eager to embark on a collaborative project. The innovative idea of utilizing Silent Disco Headphones to address noise complaints, inspired by a team member's experience at a Silent disco house party in the Netherlands, served as the initial spark.


As time progressed, the team recognized the versatility of their concept beyond indoor events. At the launch event at the W Barcelona, guests were treated to a diverse range of experiences, including virtual sightseeing, guided meditation, a presentation from the founders, a short film, and the unique feature of two DJs performing simultaneously. Subsequently, the team shifted their focus primarily towards music events.


In January 2023, the team amicably parted ways, leaving Manuel in charge. AURA underwent a rebranding to MUSIC, HOLISTIC AND EXPERIENCE, emphasizing strong partnership building. After successfully hosting events in Barcelona, Madrid, Paris, Portugal, Sweden, and Switzerland, AURA introduced franchising opportunities to their services. In the summer of 2023, the first holistic partnership in Uruguay was launched, followed by the establishment of the first franchise in Ghana.


Vision

Our vision is to build a global network and become a hub for silent disco-based events and experiences. We aim to build a platform to unite and support people in our industry on a worldwide scale.

THE STORY BEHIND THE NAME AND LOGO


The name AURA was carefully chosen to reflect the transformative experience that our headphones provide.

As you switch between channels and immerse yourself in different types of music, languages, or guided meditations, your energy and aura naturally shift and evolve. We wanted to capture this essence of transformation and personal growth in our brand name.

Our vision for AURA has always been to transcend the typical associations with headphones. We didn’t want to be limited to just being seen as a tool for disco or partying, or even just for blocking out external noise. Instead, we wanted to create a product that could facilitate holistic experiences and enhance the way people connect with sound.

The bow in our logo serves as a visual representation of the headphones wrapping around the person wearing them, creating a sense of envelopment and immersion in the audio experience. It also symbolizes the idea of being wrapped in a cocoon of sound, where you can escape from the outside world and explore the depths of your inner world.
