TERMS & CONDITIONS – EQUIPMENT RENTAL

AURA Silent Disco S.L.

1. Company Information

These Terms & Conditions apply to all equipment rental services provided by AURA Silent Disco S.L., a company registered in Spain, with its registered office in Barcelona (hereinafter referred to as “AURA”).

2. Scope

These Terms & Conditions govern the rental of wireless headphones, transmitters, and related audio equipment for events, activations, experiences, and private or corporate use.

By confirming a booking, the client acknowledges having read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions.

3. Booking, Pricing & Payment

All prices listed are exclusive of VAT, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Full payment is required prior to equipment delivery or pickup, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
AURA reserves the right to suspend or cancel the rental without notice if payment has not been received in full.
Any additional costs (loss, damage, late return, extra services) will be invoiced after the event where applicable.

4. Delivery, Pickup & Return

The rental period begins at the moment of delivery or pickup and ends upon return and inspection by AURA.
The client must return the equipment at the agreed time, location, and condition.
Late returns may result in additional daily rental charges.
AURA reserves the right to inspect all equipment after return before confirming completion of the rental.

5. Use of Equipment

The equipment must be used solely for its intended purpose and in accordance with AURA’s instructions.
The client is responsible for ensuring correct handling, supervision, and storage of the equipment during the rental period.
Sub-renting, lending, or transferring the equipment to third parties is strictly prohibited without prior written consent from AURA.

6. Responsibility, Loss & Damage

The client assumes full responsibility for the equipment from the moment of delivery or pickup until it has been returned and inspected by AURA.
In the event of loss, theft, or irreparable damage, the client agrees to compensate AURA as follows:
- Wireless headphone: €50 per unit
- Transmitter: €120 per unit
These amounts represent replacement and handling costs and will be invoiced accordingly.
Normal wear and tear resulting from correct and careful use is excluded.
Any additional cleaning, repair, or handling costs resulting from misuse or improper handling may be charged separately.

7. Cancellation Policy

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the following cancellation conditions apply:

Cancellation 14 days or more before the scheduled rental date: full refund
Cancellation 7 to 13 days before the scheduled rental date: 50% of the rental fee will be charged
Cancellation less than 7 days before the scheduled rental date: no refund

In cases of force majeure, cancellations may be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

8. Limitation of Liability

AURA shall not be held liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of profit, or event disruption.
AURA is not responsible for issues caused by venue restrictions, third parties, or improper use of the equipment.
AURA’s total liability shall, in all cases, be limited to the total rental fee paid by the client.

9. Claims

Any claims relating to the condition or functionality of the equipment must be submitted in writing within 48 hours after the equipment has been returned.

Claims submitted after this period will not be considered.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed exclusively by Spanish law.

Any disputes arising from or in connection with the rental agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Barcelona, Spain.

11. Final Provisions

The client expressly waives any conflicting general terms and conditions unless expressly accepted in writing by AURA.
Any deviation from these Terms & Conditions must be agreed in writing in advance.
If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
